Rayerkathi zamindarbari and shiva temple

The zamindari house, situated near the police line in Pirojpur district headquarters, The zamindari house and its various structures have been constructed in huge spaces. There is an old Shiva temple with Zamindar's house. Raja Rudra Narayan Roy, the descendant of Bara Bhuiyan, built this palace in 1658. Raj Bhavan, Nahabatkhana, guest house, theater, etc. were once in the royal house. The zamindar house is now just carrying the memories of the past, giving it the glory of past zamindars. A large sibilanga has been installed at the Shiv Temple of Raj Bhavan. It is said that it is one of the largest Shiblinga in the subcontinent.
To see the historic temple and the Rajbari, you will have to go to Raikarkati from Pirojpur Sadar upazila. The place will be about 3-4 kilometers away from the city. So, in rickshaws or autorickshaws, you can go to the zamindari bari.
